Leading local government during COVID-19: An empirical finding from Ghana

Abstract: Purpose: This is to look into the impact of leadership on employee output in local governance sector during COVID – 19 Era. Research Methodology: A quantitative and descriptive approach, as well a census method, were used sample 220 employees. structured questionnaire was gather data, multiple linear regression test hypotheses, SPSS version 20 input, process, analyze data. Result: The findings demonstrate that visionary, laissez-faire, servant styles have considerable staff output. Furthermore, employees' unaffected by autocratic charismatic styles. Limitation: research only investigated five different types Within central region, it similarly limited one metropolitan assembly. Contribution: It demonstrated theory under government, some various forces situations drive organization's activities; thus, should be ready change dynamically position themselves handle issues arise.
